Cultural Mapping

Developed as part of community engagement during the AISD rezoning process, this cultural map illustrates the spatial, social, and ecological connections between the Barton View and Travis Country neighborhoods. The mapping analysis identifies shared greenbelts, trail networks, and community patterns that define the area as a cohesive urban fabric. The work advocates for boundary decisions grounded in existing geographic and cultural relationships, reinforcing a sense of place and continuity within Southwest Austin.
